My girlfriend and I both bought these packs for backcountry skiing. We used these for the first time today at Tuckermans Revine at Mt Washingon NH. Worked perfect! Bag is very durable, carried our skis, helmets and gear with no problems. Appenglow is a really cool color. High quality product. I am certain we will have these packs for a very long time.

Was so excited to get it, that I put it into use the same day I recieved it. The reviews was spot on and I couldn't agree more. Got the midium size and it fits prefect for a guy who stands at 66"in. Not into the snow, but I primarily use this backpack for traveling alot to the Caribbean where your loads are much lighter and it holds a lot more. Use the goggles compartment for my dive mask and starp my fins on the outside. The color black seems to be more of a dark gray but the sturdiness and comfort is what I wanted and I think it's a great investment for my traveling lifestyle.

Osprey products continue to impress me. I purchased a smaller one for my then 13 year old son and four years later, it's still going strong. This purchase of a larger black one is intended for hauling snowboarding gear and loaded with all his gear still has room to spare.
